The available line functions are "Copy Line," "Delete Line," "Reset Line," "Reverse Line," and "Add Line to Favorites." In order for the line functions to work, you must first select the row or rows in the timesheet by selecting the checkbox to the left of the row. This will highlight the entire row in blue. Each option is further defined in the following paragraphs.
Select the Copy Line function to duplicate the selected line on the next available timesheet line. The charge information and line comments will be copied. The cell comment if it exists will not be copied to the new line.
The Copy Line function will be disabled for the following reasons:
The timesheet is closed.
The current timesheet line is incomplete.
A supervisor without timesheet modification rights (as designated for his functional role) is viewing an employee's timesheet.
The timesheet has a "Processed" status and the employee's timesheet class requires timesheet changes to be made with reversal entries. See the Must Use Reverse Timesheet checkbox in the Basic Information tab of the Timesheet Classes screen.
Click Delete Line to delete the selected line from the timesheet. If you have not yet saved the selected line, this completely removes the line, including any entered hours, line comments, cell comments and move up any lines below it.
If you have already saved the selected line, click Delete Line to zero out any cell hours in the line that are not processed, sent, or part of a reversal. Cell comments on the zeroed cells, if they exist, will be made null. If there are no processed, sent, or reversal cells on the line, the line comment will be made null also. When you next save the timesheet, you must provide a revision explanation.
Delete Line is disabled in the following cases:

If you have already saved the selected line, use the Reset Line function to reset the line to the previous values found in the database for charge information, line comments, cell comments, hours and possible rates and amounts.
